This special variant of the Rottweil Jagd braun is ideal for successful shots at short distances, e.g. in forest hunting or on incoming ducks. Rottweil was the first shotgun cartridge manufacturer to have the idea to use the originally designed spread cross for clay pigeon shooting also in hunting. The spread cross causes a wide coverage of the shot pattern up to about 25 m, thereby increasing the chance of hitting the target. This feature prevents loss of game meat. Diese spezielle Variante der Rottweil Jagd braun ist ideal für den erfolgreichen Schuss auf kurze Distanzen geeignet, z.B. bei der Waldjagd oder auf einfallende Enten. Rottweil hatte als erster Schrotpatronen-Hersteller die Idee das ursprünglich für das Wurftaubenschießen konzipierte Streukreuz auch bei der Jagd einzusetzen. Das Streukreuz bewirkt eine großflächige Deckung der Schrotgarbe bis ca. 25 m und erhöht damit die Trefferchance. Diese Eigenschaft bewahrt vor Wildbretverlust.
