About the Author

Dr. Michael Petrak was the head of the Research Institute for Hunting and Wildlife Damage Prevention of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia for more than 34 years. In seminars and in training and further education, he has been training hunters and forestry workers, forest farmers, farmers, hunting supervisors, and professional hunters for many years in recognizing wildlife damage and its assessment as well as in matters of wildlife damage prevention.
