The history of this independently developed and produced sports pistol and its creator Clemens Geiger from Aschaffenburg is impressive. At the beginning, in the year 2002, the idea was to construct a unique sports pistol and manufacture it independently in Germany.
The key data was quickly established in the concept: roller lock, fixed barrel, highest precision, best materials, extreme robustness, easy disassembly, optics oriented towards the classic 1911.
From the very beginning, the goal was to create a robust, durable sports pistol focused on the highest precision, which combines the best features of the handguns available on the market.
The heart of every firearm is the barrel. The GRP features a hand-lapped barrel with a gas-tight polygon profile. It is firmly pinned to the grip and locks with a roller lock.
The self-developed roller lock made from the best steel grades is carefully hardened and tempered to achieve high elasticity, reliability, and longevity.
Another special feature of this roller lock pistol is that all essential parts of the weapon can be easily disassembled using tool-free operating lever locks.
The mount for the adjustable sight is integrated like the front sight in the slide. An extremely flat sight line has been realized, which significantly facilitates target acquisition.
The specially manufactured walnut grip panels from Nill fit perfectly in the hand and complete the overall picture of this excellent sports pistol.

Die Historie dieser eigenständig Entwickelten und produzierten Sportpistole und dessen Schöpfer Clemens Geiger aus Aschaffenburg ist beeindruckend. Am Anfang im Jahre 2002 stand der Gedanke eine eigene Sportpistole zu konstruieren und selbstständig in Deutschland zu fertigen.
Die Eckdaten standen in der Vorstellung schnell fest: Rollenverschluss, feststehender Lauf, höchste Präzision, beste Materialien, extreme Robustheit, einfaches Zerlegen, Optik orientiert an dem Klassiker 1911.
Von Anfang an war der gesetzte Anspruch eine robuste, langlebige und auf höchste Präzision ausgerichtete Sportpistole zu schaffen, die die besten Eigenschaften der am Markt erhältlichen Kurzwaffen in sich vereint.
Das Herzstück einer jeden Schusswaffe ist der Lauf. Die GRP besitzt einen handgeläppten Lauf mit gasdichtem Polygonprofil. Er ist fest mit dem Griffstück verstiftet und verriegelt mit einem Rollenverschluss.
Der selbst entwickelte Rollenverschluss aus allerbesten Stahlsorten ist sorgfältig gehärtet und vergütet um eine hohe Elastizität, Zuverlässigkeit und Lebensdauer zu erreichen.
Eine weitere Besonderheit bei dieser Rollenverschluss Pistole ist, alle wesentlichen Teile der Waffe sind durch werkzeugfrei bedienbare Riegelhebel leicht zerlegbar.
Die Aufnahme für das einstellbare Visier ist wie das Korn im Schlitten integriert. Es wurde eine extrem flache Visierlinie realisiert, was die Zielaufnahme deutlich erleichtert.
Die speziell für die GRP hergestellten Nussbaum- Griffschalen der Firma Nill liegen perfekt in der Hand und runden das Gesamtbild dieser exzellenten Sportpistole ab.
