The OxyCap Coating
OxyCAP is an innovative surface hardening process developed in-house by Akkar, functioning on the principle of heat treatment and providing better protection than conventional coatings. This treatment is applied to the steel housing and locking parts. It results in high abrasion, corrosion, and impact resistance. The OxyCap-hardened surfaces are extremely smooth, making it difficult for dirt and residues to adhere. This also facilitates the cleaning and maintenance of the shotgun.
The Stock
The stock of the Churchill Hunting 812E OxyCap is made of walnut and has a matte finish. Its ergonomics ensure relaxed shooting, and the grip areas on the pistol grip and forend have a fish scale texture that feels pleasant in the hands. The stock is finished with a black cap.
The System
The black receiver with the aforementioned OxyCap finish and the completely black trigger unit match perfectly with the walnut wood. The action box is made of steel. The shotgun is designed for caliber 12/76 and steel shot proofing. It features an ejector and a selectable single trigger.
The Barrels

Die OxyCap-Beschichtung
OxyCAP ist ein innovatives, von Akkar hauseigen entwickeltes Oberflächenhärtungsverfahren, das nach dem Prinzip der Wärmebehandlung funktioniert und besser als herkömmliche Beschichtungen schützt. Damit sind das Stahlgehäuse und die Verschlussteile behandelt. Diese Behandlung führt zu einer hohen Abriebs-, Korrosions- und Stoßfestigkeit. Die OxyCap-gehärteten Oberflächen sind extrem glatt, so dass Schmutz und Rückstände kaum haften bleiben. Dies erleichtert auch Reinigung und Wartung der Flinte.
Der Schaft
Der Schaft der Churchill Hunting 812E OxyCap ist aus Nussbaumholz gefertigt und hat eine matte Oberfläche. Seine Ergonomie gewährleistet ein entspanntes Schießen, die Griffflächen an Pistolengriff und Vorderschaft liegen mit ihrer Fischhautstruktur haptisch angenehm in den Händen. Abgeschlossen wird der Schaft von einer schwarzen Kappe.
Das System
Die schwarze Basküle mit dem oben beschriebenen OxyCap-Finish und die ebenfalls komplett schwarze Abzugseinheit passen optisch perfekt zu dem Schaftholz. Der Systemkasten ist aus Stahl gefertigt. Die Flinte ist für das Kaliber 12/76 und Stahlschrotbeschuss ausgelegt. Sie verfügt über einen Ejektor und einen umschaltbaren Einabzug.
Die Läufe
Die Churchill Hunting 812E OxyCap ist mit 71 cm langen übereinanderliegenden Läufen ausgestattet. Die Laufoberfläche ist matt brüniert, die Visierschiene 7 mm breit und mit einem roten Fiberkorn-Visier versehen. 5 Wechselchockes sind im Lieferumfang enthalten.
