Der klassische Nicker ist eines der bekanntesten Jagdmesser im deutschsprachigen Raum. Sein Name entspringt der ursprünglichen Funktion als „Genickfänger“. Mit der Zeit hat sich der Verwendungszweck jedoch verändert und damit auch die bisherige Messerform.
