Dipol D400 DNS – compact night vision attachment with clear image representation
The Dipol D400 DNS is a digital night vision device that can be used both as an attachment for daytime optics and as a handheld monocular. Instead of a classic image intensifier tube, the device operates with a wear-free image sensor. This allows for use in daylight without any issues.
The image representation is displayed on a high-resolution OLED display with 1024 × 768 pixels. Brightness, contrast, and gain can be manually adjusted. Additionally, users can choose between black-and-white and green image representation.
With a short startup time of about 3 seconds, the D400 DNS is quickly ready for use. The practical observation distance is around 100 meters, while technically detection ranges of over 400 meters are possible. For more demanding lighting conditions, the included IR illuminator can be used.
As an attachment, the D400 DNS is mounted to the daytime optics via an adapter ring. After installation, the point of impact remains unchanged, and re-zeroing is not necessary. The compact design only minimally extends the optics backward.
The robust titanium-aluminum housing is weatherproof according to IPX6 and designed for hunting use. The control elements are arranged so that they remain easily accessible even when wearing gloves.

Dipol D400 DNS – kompaktes Nachtsicht-Vorsatzgerät mit klarer Bilddarstellung
Das Dipol D400 DNS ist ein digitales Nachtsichtgerät, das sowohl als Vorsatzgerät für Tagesoptiken als auch als handgeführtes Monokular eingesetzt werden kann. Statt einer klassischen Bildverstärkerröhre arbeitet das Gerät mit einem verschleißfreien Bildsensor. Dadurch ist auch der Einsatz bei Tageslicht problemlos möglich.
Die Bilddarstellung erfolgt über ein hochaufgelöstes OLED-Display mit 1024 × 768 Pixel. Helligkeit, Kontrast und Verstärkung lassen sich manuell anpassen. Zusätzlich kann zwischen Schwarz-Weiß- und grüner Bilddarstellung gewählt werden.
Durch die kurze Startzeit von rund 3 Sekunden ist das D400 DNS schnell einsatzbereit. Die praxisnahe Beobachtungsdistanz liegt bei etwa 100 Metern, technisch sind Erkennungsweiten von über 400 Metern möglich. Für anspruchsvollere Lichtverhältnisse kann der mitgelieferte IR-Strahler genutzt werden.
Als Vorsatzgerät wird das D400 DNS über einen Adapterring an der Tagesoptik befestigt. Nach der Montage bleibt die Treffpunktlage erhalten, ein erneutes Einschießen ist nicht erforderlich. Die kompakte Bauform verlängert die Optik nach hinten nur minimal.
Das robuste Titan-Aluminium-Gehäuse ist wetterfest nach IPX6 und für den jagdlichen Einsatz ausgelegt. Die Bedienelemente sind so angeordnet, dass sie auch mit Handschuhen sicher erreichbar bleiben.
