Lahoux Spotter Elite 50V – powerful thermal imaging monocular for long distances
The Lahoux Spotter Elite 50V is a thermal imaging monocular designed for demanding observations at long distances. With its 50 mm objective lens and 640 × 480 VOx sensor, the device is particularly suitable for open field areas, wide clearings, and situations where range and overview are required.
Sensor and Image Representation
The uncooled 640 × 480 VOx sensor with a 12 µm pixel pitch delivers a clearly structured thermal image. The NETD of < 50 mK ensures a clean separation of wildlife bodies and background. With an image frequency of 50 Hz, the image remains stable and easily analyzable even during movement.
The image output is provided via an FLCOS display with 1280 × 960 pixels, which presents contrasts evenly and is comfortable to view even during prolonged use.
Optics, Zoom, and Range
The 50 mm objective lens is consistently designed for range. In combination with the sensor, the Spotter Elite 50V achieves a detection range of up to approximately 2,600 m under favorable conditions. This provides the device with significant reserves for large-area game monitoring.
To adapt to the observation situation, a digital zoom of 2× and 4× as well as a convenient adjustment via a rotary knob are available.

Four color modes allow for flexible adaptation to terrain, vegetation, and personal preferences:

Recording and Connectivity
Photos and videos can be stored in the internal 8-GB memory. The integrated Wi-Fi function allows the live image as well as image and video material to be transmitted to Android or iOS devices. The connection is designed for distances of up to about 50 m.
Battery, Housing, and Handling
The integrated lithium-ion battery enables a runtime of about 3.5 hours with Wi-Fi activated or up to 6.5 hours without Wi-Fi. The device can also be operated or charged via a USB power bank.
The robust housing is rated to IP67.

Lahoux Spotter Elite 50V – leistungsstarkes Wärmebild-Monokular für große Distanzen
Der Lahoux Spotter Elite 50V ist ein Wärmebild-Monokular für anspruchsvolle Beobachtungen auf große Entfernungen. Mit seinem 50 mm Objektiv und dem 640 × 480 VOx-Sensor eignet sich das Gerät besonders für offene Feldreviere, weite Schneisen und Situationen, in denen Reichweite und Übersicht gefragt sind.
Sensor und Bilddarstellung
Der ungekühlte 640 × 480 VOx-Sensor mit 12 µm Pixelabstand liefert ein klar strukturiertes Wärmebild. Die NETD von < 50 mK sorgt für eine saubere Trennung von Wildkörpern und Hintergrund. Mit einer Bildfrequenz von 50 Hz bleibt das Bild auch bei Bewegung ruhig und gut auswertbar.
Die Bildausgabe erfolgt über ein FLCOS-Display mit 1280 × 960 Pixeln, das Kontraste gleichmäßig darstellt und auch bei längerer Nutzung angenehm zu betrachten ist.
Optik, Zoom und Reichweite
Das 50 mm Objektiv ist konsequent auf Reichweite ausgelegt. In Kombination mit dem Sensor erreicht der Spotter Elite 50V eine Detektionsreichweite von bis zu ca. 2.600 m unter günstigen Bedingungen. Damit bietet das Gerät deutliche Reserven für großflächige Revierkontrollen.
Zur Anpassung an die Beobachtungssituation stehen ein Digitalzoom mit 2× und 4× sowie eine komfortable Einstellung per Drehknopf zur Verfügung.
Farbmodi und Bildanpassung
Vier Farbmodi ermöglichen eine flexible Anpassung an Gelände, Vegetation und persönliche Vorlieben:

Aufzeichnung und Konnektivität
