The standard EPa type IV daily ration with chicken strips in creamy sauce is a complete single-person pack (EPa) according to Bundeswehr standards, developed for daily needs of survival food with around 3,000 kcal. It is ideal for emergency supplies, outdoor adventures, and trekking, offering maximum comfort and energy supply due to its low weight and immediate readiness for consumption. This ration includes the main dish, chicken strips with potatoes and vegetables, as well as practical emergency food components such as drinking water cans, hard biscuits ("Panzerplatten"), and depending on availability, either an original Bundeswehr canned bread or a rye flour bread.
