It is supported by a focusable and 3-level dimmable IR illuminator available in either 850nm or 940nm versions. Experience shows that the 850 variant offers visibly better performance and does not scare off wildlife, so we recommend this one. The 940 variant is considered absolutely wildlife-safe, but has lower performance, thus reducing the brightness and range of the device. Especially the short design makes the SP popular, as it extends the scope less backward and thus avoids unwanted contact. Unterstützt wird es dabei von einem fokussierbaren und 3-stufig dimmbaren IR-Aufheller in wahlweise 850nm oder 940nm Ausführung. Erfahrungsgemäß bietet die 850er Variante die sichtbar bessere Leistung und vergrämt das Wild nicht, so dass wir diesen empfehlen. Die 940er Variante gilt als absolut wildsicher, hat aber die geringere Leistung und reduziert somit die Helligkeit und auch die Reichweite des Gerätes. Besonders die kurze Bauform macht das SP beliebt, weil es das Zielfernohr weniger nach hinten verlängert und somit unerwünschten Kontakt vermeidet.
