The Austrian pistol manufacturer Glock has teamed up with the Swedish red dot sight producer Aimpoint to develop the A-Cut system. This interface allows the sight to be mounted directly and absolutely stably on the pistol without adapter plates. This way, the G19 A-Cut Combo Aimpoint COA achieves optimal accuracy.

Materials and Construction
The G19 is a compact and versatile pistol with a lightweight and robust polymer frame featuring recoil-compensating properties. The pistol has an nDLC coating for optimal protection against corrosion and mechanical damage. An integrated rail in front of the trigger guard allows for the mounting of accessories such as lights and lasers. In the Safe Action system, the three safeties – trigger, firing pin, and drop safety – disengage sequentially when the trigger is pulled and automatically re-engage when released. A visible and tactile indicator shows whether a round is in the chamber. The Glock Marksman Barrel (GMB) is designed for optimal precision in the proven polygonal barrel design.
Ergonomics
The slide catch lever of the G19 is ambidextrous and allows for safe and comfortable handling of the slide for both left- and right-handed users. The finger grooves on the slide, which are also located at the front, provide a secure grip even in wet conditions and with gloves. The magazine funnel allows for quick magazine changes, and the enlarged magazine base facilitates extraction when needed. The grip features the proven surface texture of the Gen4 and is designed to be securely handled regardless of hand size by omitting finger grooves. Interchangeable beavertail backstraps in two different sizes allow for individual adjustment.
Aimpoint COA Combo
Thanks to the A-Cut interface, the sight sits absolutely securely on the pistol. The use of the red dot sight is intuitive, as aiming is done like with iron sights. A large field of view with a narrow frame provides a good overview. The optics are completely sealed against environmental influences and dirt, and they are waterproof up to 25 meters deep. The red dot sight features 12 brightness settings: 1-4 for nighttime use, 5-12 for daylight use. Elevation and windage adjustments are made simply and easily with audible clicks using a T10 Torx. The battery life is approximately 5 years of continuous operation, and a replacement can be done without removing the sight.

Materialien und Konstruktion
Die G19 ist eine kompakte und vielseitig einsetzbare Pistole mit einem leichten und robusten Polymer-Rahmen mit rückstoßkompensierenden Eigenschaften. Die Pistole hat zum optimalen Schutz vor Korrosion und mechanischen Beschädigungen eine nDLC-Beschichtung. Bei dem Safe Action-System lösen sich die drei Sicherungen – Abzugs-, Schlagbolzen- und Fallsicherung – nacheinander beim Betätigen des Abzugs und rasten beim Loslassen automatisch wieder ein. Eine seh- und fühlbare Anzeige am zeigt an, ob sich eine Patrone im Patronenlager befindet. Der Glock Marksman-Lauf (GMB) ist für optimale Präzision in dem bewährten polygonalen Laufdesign gestaltet.
Ergonomie
Der Verschlussfanghebel der G19 ist beidhändig bedienbar und ermöglicht eine sichere und komfortable Handhabung des Schlittens für Links- und Rechtshänder. Die Fingerrillen des Schlittens, die sich gleichfalls vorne befinden, sind auch bei Nässe und mit Handschuhen noch griffig. Der Magazintrichter erlaubt einen schnellen Magazinwechsel, der vergrößerte Magazinboden erleichtert bei Bedarf das Herausziehen. Der Griff hat die bewährte Oberflächenstruktur der Gen4 und ist durch das Weglassen der Fingermulden so ausgelegt, dass man die Pistole unabhängig von der Handgröße sicher führen kann. Austauschbare Beavertail-Griffrücken in zwei verschiedenen Größen erlauben eine individuelle Anpassung.
Aimpoint COA Combo
Dank der A-Cut-Schnittstelle sitzt die Zieloptik absolut fest auf der Pistole. Der Einsatz des Leuchtpunktvisiers ist intuitiv, da wie mit Kimme und Korn anvisiert wird. Ein großes Sichtfeld mit schmalem Rahmen sorgt für einen guten Überblick. Die Optik ist komplett gegen Umwelteinflüsse und Verschmutzungen geschlossen, sie ist bis 25 m Tiefe wasserdicht. Das Rotpunktvisier verfügt über 12 Helligkeitseinstellungen: 1-4 für den nächtlichen Einsatz, 5-12 für den Einsatz bei Tageslicht. Die Höhen- und Seiteneinstellung erfolgt mit hörbaren Klicks einfach und unkompliziert mit einem T10-Torx.
