When Zeiss launched the Conquest series in 2012, the premium instruments impressed hunters with their versatility and robustness, which they have since used equally for stalking and sitting. Now, with the Conquest HDX devices, a new generation of top-class binoculars has emerged. The Conquest HDX 10x42 offers the familiar quality optics from Zeiss at an excellent price-performance ratio.
The optical system With a light transmission of 90%, the Conquest HDX 10x42 delivers bright and true-to-nature images without color fringes and casts, even in low light conditions in the early morning or late evening. This is thanks to the Zeiss T* multi-coating of the lenses and the roof prism. Aspherical lenses and ED glass (Extra-Low-Dispersion) significantly reduce chromatic aberration. The Field-Flattener technology ensures high edge sharpness with detailed results across the entire field of view.
Material and workmanship The housing of the Conquest HDX 10x42 is made of magnesium and is 10% lighter than the corresponding model of the HD series. Its full rubber armor provides additional protection; it is waterproof, shockproof, and temperature-resistant. The hydrophobic LouTec coating on the lenses causes water to bead off and prevents dirt from sticking. To prevent internal fogging, the binoculars are filled with nitrogen. Thus, it remains a reliable instrument in every hunting situation to identify game.
Ergonomics When using binoculars for extended periods while sitting or stalking, their ergonomics become an important criterion. The Conquest HDX 10x42 is tactilely pleasant and intuitively operable, even in cold weather with gloves. Its armor is grippy, and with the precise and smooth focusing wheel, you can go from the 2.0 m close range to infinity with just 1.3 turns. The diopter can be locked to prevent accidental adjustment, and the eyecups are interchangeable. The Conquest HDX 10x42 features an interface for mounting it on a tripod.

Das Conquest HDX 10x42 ist haptisch angenehm und intuitiv bedienbar, auch bei kaltem Wetter mit Handschuhen. Seine Armierung ist griffig und bei dem präzisen und leichtgängigen Fokussierrad gelangt man mit nur 1,3 Drehungen vom 2,0-m-Nahbereich bis unendlich. Der Diopter ist gegen versehentliches Verstellen arretierbar, die Augenmuscheln sind austauschbar. Das Conquest HDX 10x42 verfügt über eine Schnittstelle, um es auf einem Stativ montiert einzusetzen.
