The barrel of the X-Bolt is double-bedded: This means that the unit of barrel and receiver is connected to the system at two points, front and rear, without tolerance. This bedding allows the barrel to oscillate freely and results in accurate shooting performance.
The heavy semi-weight barrel with a length of 61 cm and a muzzle thread of M18x1 impresses with its high inherent precision. The Super Feather Trigger™ trigger system guarantees a perfect trigger feel. Maximum Safety & Comfortable Handling
The 2-position safety on the stock neck is intuitive and easy to operate. The safety affects both the trigger and firing pin equally and is significantly superior to a simple trigger safety. In the cocked position, a signal pin on the lock indicates the loading status of the weapon. Another safety plus: The release button on the bolt allows for opening and unloading the weapon in a secured position.
Quick Reloading & Easy Magazine Change
The extra-large, drop-shaped chamber handle allows for quick cycling and easy reloading of the weapon. For magazine changes, a lever on the magazine is simply pulled back, allowing it to be removed effortlessly with one hand. The drum magazines made of high-strength plastic have a capacity of 4+1 rounds, and in caliber .223 Rem even 5+1 rounds.
Inflex Technology
The extremely flexible Inflex stock cap maximally absorbs the recoil of the weapon. The technical design and the very elastic material ensure that the force of the recoil is directed downward and not upward towards the face. The shooter can better control the shot, as the upward movement of the weapon is significantly reduced.

Die Sicherung wirkt auf Abzug und Schlagbolzen gleichermaßen und ist einer einfachen Abzugssicherung deutlich überlegen. Im gespannten Zustand zeigt ein Signalstift am Schloss den Ladezustand der Waffe an. Ein weiteres Plus an Sicherheit: Der Freigabeknopf am Verschluss ermöglicht das Öffnen und Entladen der Waffe in gesicherter Position.
Schnelles Nachladen & einfacher Magazinwechsel
Der extragroße, tropfenförmige Kammergriff ermöglicht ein schnelles Repetieren und leichtes Nachladen der Waffe. Für den Magazinwechsel wird lediglich ein Hebel am Magazin nach hinten gezogen, sodass es problemlos mit einer Hand entnommen werden kann. Die Trommelmagazine aus hochfestem Kunststoff haben eine Kapazität von 4+1 Schuss, im Kaliber .223 Rem sogar 5+1 Schuss.
Inflex-Technologie
Die extrem flexible Inflex-Schaftkappe absorbiert den Rückstoß der Waffe maximal. Der technische Aufbau und das sehr elastische Material bewirken, dass die Wucht des Rückstoßes nach unten und nicht nach oben in die Nähe des Gesichts abgeleitet wird. Der Schütze kann den Schuss besser kontrollieren, da das Hochschlagen der Waffe verringert sich deutlich.
