Portable Royal Pot Helmet with Crown handcrafted from 1.6 mm steel, featuring elaborate riveted connections and adorned with a riveted brass crown. The blackened interior is lined with leather, and the adjustable chin strap made of 3 mm thick brown leather is equipped with an antique-finish brass buckle.

The so-called Great Helmet, also known as pot helmet, bucket helmet, or cask helmet, was often worn over a smaller, lighter helmet (e.g., a coif). It was widespread in medieval Central Europe, and numerous contemporary illustrations attest to the popularity of this type of helmet. These helmets emerged during the time of the Crusades in the late 12th / early 13th century and remained common among knights into the 14th century.
