Produktmerkmale: - Set for rust removal consisting of wire brush and sandpaper - Brush with brass wire for gentle rust removal - Sandpaper in the grits 1000, 2000, 3000, 5000, and 7000, each with 4 sheets of each grit - For removing rust spots on blades - First aid kit for your blade Produktbeschreibung: The included wire brush has bristles made of brass. Brass is softer than most other metals but hard enough to remove rust. Therefore, the brush is suitable for the superficial removal of rust on almost all blades. For this, the brush only needs to be brushed over the rust. In the second step, the sandpaper comes into play. The set contains a total of 20 sheets of sandpaper, which can be used both dry and as wet sandpaper. Each grit includes 4 sheets in the grits 1000, 2000, 3000, 5000, and 7000. The grits 1000 - 3000 are needed for advanced rust formation and satin-finished blades to reduce existing rust and straighten rust spots. The grits 5000 and 7000 are needed to remove light rust spots or to eliminate traces from the coarser grits. After wet sanding with the 7000 grit, it is sufficient to treat the blade with Uchiko or metal polish to achieve an acceptable finish. Size per sheet: approx. 23 x 9.5 cm This first aid kit is intended for the removal of rust formation on modern series blades. It does not replace a multi-stage polishing process by a professional. Please use the set carefully, as improper handling of the components can cause scratches and irreparable damage to the blade.
