The Gun-Tec GT-Oberon is a thermal imaging attachment for hunting. It can be used both as a handheld device for observation and as an attachment device, thus it can be classified as a "dual-use device" (device with two applications). A special feature of the Oberon from Gun-Tec is the model variant with "LRF" (Laser Range Finder). With the precise laser range finder, the distance to the targeted object can be accurately determined. The range of the laser is specified as 1,200m. The Oberon was developed by Gun-Tec based on the experiences of the Gun-TecQuests, but its configuration is specifically tailored for hunting. It was designed for shooting distances of up to 250m and supports the shooter through modern technology combined with simple operation – even under adverse conditions and complete darkness. Das Gun-Tec GT-Oberon ist ein Wärmebildvorsatzgerät für die Jagd. Es kann sowohl als Handgerät zur Beobachtung, als auch als Vorsatzgerät genutzt werden und kann somit als “Dual-Use-Gerät” (Gerät mit zwei Anwendungsfällen) klassifiziert werden.Besonderheit des Oberon von Gun-Tec ist mit Modellvariante mit “LRF” (Laser-Range-Finder / Laser-Entfernungsmesser). Durch den präzisen Laser-Entfernungsmesser kann die Distanz zum anvisierten Objekt genau bestimmt werden. Die Reichweite des Lasers wird mit 1.200m angegeben.Das Oberon wurde von Gun-Tec aus den Erfahrungen des Gun-TecQuests entwickelt, jedoch in seiner Konfiguration speziell auf die Jagd hin ausgerichtet. Es wurde für Schuss-Dinstanzen bis zu 250m entwickelt und unterstütz dem Schützen durch moderne Technik in Kombination mit einer einfachen Bedienung – auch unter widrigen Bedingungen und absoluter Dunkelheit.
