Er arbeitet sehr wirtschaftlich mit nur einer Super 6 V-Batterie und hat trotzdem eine Leistung von ca. 1000 Blinkstunden. Kein Glühbirnenwechsel mehr! Der Feldhüter besitzt eine hochwertige Leuchtdiode mit einer fast unbegrenzten Lebensdauer. Gerät blinkt und piept in der Dämmerung und Dunkelheit. Tagsüber schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch ab.
