The construction of the SP5K is very compact and robust. It is made of durable polymer plastic, except for the barrel, which is made of cold-hammered and hard-chromed steel. The other heavily stressed components are also made of solid steel. The SP5K can be disassembled and reassembled for maintenance without tools.
