Thanks to 10x magnification, the Leica Noctivid 10x42 offers the best detail recognition. The short close focus limit provides sharply detailed impressions like in macro format, while the generous field of view offers a wide overview at distant ranges. The outstanding imaging performance known from the Leica HD-Plus binoculars has been further improved in the Noctivid binoculars. The brilliant image is more contrast-rich and sharper. In addition to the prisms made of Schott HT™ glass, the anti-reflective layers have also been optimized. These are applied to all lenses and prisms using the new high-temperature plasma process. All these refinements ensure that light passes through the binoculars almost losslessly across the entire visible spectrum. The Noctivid binoculars are exceptionally close to the point of absolute color neutrality (neutral point) in color reproduction.
By changing the radii on the lens surfaces, sharpness has been significantly improved right to the edge of the field of view. In combination with the proven minimization of the globe effect in Leica binoculars and the sophisticated positioning of the apertures, an incomparably three-dimensional viewing experience is created. With a 19mm AP position and generously designed eyepieces, the Noctivid also offers an incredibly quick and pleasant view. With a close focus limit of 1.90 meters and extremely short focusing distances at further ranges, your observation target is never out of sight. A textured rubber coating gives the bodies an extremely pleasant feel and is simultaneously non-slip and shock-absorbing. A highly durable, patented special paint additionally protects the metal surfaces of the robust magnesium housing. The center of gravity of the binoculars has been positioned so that it lies directly in line with the wrist. This allows for long, relaxed observation. Die kurze Naheinstellgrenze bietet detailscharfe Eindrücke wie im Makroformat, das großzügige Sehfeld bietet den weiten Überblick auf ferne Distanzen. Die kompakte Bauweise und die ideale Gewichtsverteilung sorgen für ermüdungsfreies und entspanntes Beobachten.
