The Leica Geovid 3200.COM enables distance measurement up to 2,900 meters for the first time, and in combination with the specially designed Leica Hunting App, allows for the convenient input of individual ballistic settings via smartphone. Leica's own ballistic program ABC calculates the individual ballistic output values based on caliber, bullet type, trajectory, and weight from the inputs, which are transmitted via Bluetooth to the Leica Geovid 3200.COM. From this, the exact ballistic distance and hold point correction are calculated. When calculating the distance, the Geovid takes into account both temperature and air pressure as well as the terrain angle. In fractions of a second, either the linear, horizontal distance (the holdover or click adjustment) is calculated and displayed on the riflescope.

Das Leica Geovid 3200.COM ermöglicht erstmals eine Entfernungsmessung bis 2.900 Meter und in Kombination mit der eigens konzipierten Leica Hunting App die Eingabe individueller Ballistikeinstellungen bequem am Smartphone. Das Leica eigene Ballistikprogramm ABC berechnet anhand von Kaliber, Geschossart, Flugbahn und Gewicht die individuellen ballistischen Ausgabewerte Anhand der Eingaben, die per Bluetooth an das Leica Geovid 3200.COM übertragen werden. Daraus wird die exakte, ballistische Entfernung und Haltepunktkorrektur berechnet. Bei der Entfernungsberechnung berücksichtigt das Geovid sowohl Temperatur und Luftdruck als auch den Geländewinkel. In Sekundenbruchteilen werden entweder die lineare, ebengleiche Entfernung (der Holdover oder die Klickverstellung) am Zielfernrohr errechnet und angezeigt.
