The lid fits tightly and is secured with a heavy-duty, rust-free latch with a metal hasp. In addition, it features a pre-drilled hole for attaching a padlock. The Ammo Field Box can be safely stacked on top of each other due to its shape. It provides space for four shotgun shell boxes (100 shotgun shells), for example.

Die Plano® Ammo Field Box ist aus schlagfestem, wetterbeständigem Kunststoff und für vielseitige Anwendungen im professionellen Bereich sowie für Freizeit-Aktivitäten geeignet. Der Deckel liegt eng auf und wird mit einem hochbelastbaren, rostfreien Klappverschluss mit Metallbügel verschlossen. Darüber hinaus verfügt sie über ein vorgebohrtes Loch zum Anbringen von einem Vorhängeschloss. Die Ammo Field Box kann aufgrund ihrer Form sicher übereinander gestapelt werden. Sie bietet z.B. Platz für vier Schrotpatronenschachteln (100 Schrotpatronen).
