Brennbar sind unter anderem Stöckchen, Rinde, Zapfen oder ähnliches. Auf seinen LandRover-Touren in der Sahara hat Albert Dörp von Absolut Canoe sogar mit getrocknetem Kamelmist gekocht. Durch den Kamineffekt des doppelwandigen Zylinders heizt das Brennmaterial innerhalb kürzester Zeit das Wasser für 7 Tassen Tee oder Kaffee. Aber Achtung: Es entsteht hohe Hitze – daher unbedingt vor Betrieb die mitgelieferte Gebrauchsanweisung gründlich lesen!
