Chapu – Paris double-barrel shotgun, Anson system with long side plates, caliber 12/70, barrel length 74 cm, number 1 of a sister shotgun, the barrel bundle for this was made by gunmaker Sir Joseph Whitworth, London, subtle engravings of a pheasant on the right and a dove on the left, English stock, very beautiful grain wood with rubber butt cap, simply a very rare hunting shotgun in truly optical and technical best condition.
