HikMicro TS16 HikMicro TS16 è stato progettato per operare in condizioni critiche, utilizza un sistema a bi-spettro con una combinazione di termico e notturno che permette una visione perfetta di obiettivi molto piccoli a distanze molto elevate. Equipaggiato con sensore termico da 640×512, con un display OLED da 1024×768 e con oculare con grande campo visivo. Con questo prodotto è possibile trovare velocemente obiettivi di piccole dimensioni anche in condizioni avverse come presenza di fumo, pioggia, neve o nebbia. La distanza massima di rilevamento per questo modello è pari a 1100mm per un obiettivo grande quanto una persona. (1.70m)
Per cosa si utilizza HikMicro TS16? Oltre agli usi in ambito militare e di ordine pubblico, le camere termiche vengono usate anche per testare l’isolamento termico degli edifici. I vigili del fuoco e la polizia hanno bisogno di questi strumenti nella ricerca di persone scomparse o per individuare le braci residue dopo un incendio. Cacciatori e agricoltori possono invece usare le camere termiche nel freddo del mattino per cercare e mettere in salvo i cerbiatti prima che i campi vengano falciati. Ma la termografia ricopre ruoli sempre più interessanti anche in ambito industriale. Le camere termiche infatti permettono di individuare velocemente e con precisione perdite di acqua e gas dagli impianti, e in parte vengono usate anche per testare motori e individuare in tempo, per esempio, un surriscaldamento. Naturalmente le camere termiche sono utili nella caccia notturna, per perlustrare i prati e i margini della boscaglia alla ricerca di selvaggina, che eventualmente può essere fatta fuggire. Rispetto a un visore notturno con tubo intensificatore, la riproduzione dell’immagine con una camera termica è diversa, perché permette di scegliere tra diverse rappresentazioni cromatiche. La radiazione termica di persone e animali può quindi essere riprodotta in bianco e nero – in base alla regolazione denominata “white hot” o “black hot”. Con questa impostazione l’ambiente circostante viene riprodotto in un bianco e nero meno marcato. C’è però anche la possibilità di visualizzare le differenze di temperatura con colori diversi, una funzionalità utile soprattutto nell’individuazione di perdite di calore negli edifici o di braci residue dopo un incendio. Lo zoom digitale permette inoltre di ingrandire una porzione di immagine per ottenere una visione più dettagliata. La qualità di riproduzione non raggiunge la precisione di un visore notturno di seconda generazione, tuttavia una camera termica è in grado di rilevare fonti di calore che un visore notturno non può individuare, per esempio un branco di cinghiali in un campo di mais.
