User account
Your Gunfinder account is free and unlocks all important features – for example, to communicate with sellers and buy or sell safely.
How do I create a user account?
Click the user icon at the top right. A menu will open with the option Register at the very bottom. Click it, enter your details – then you’ll receive an email to confirm your registration.
What features do I have with an account?
With an account, you can post your own listings, send messages to other users, save searches, and sell your firearm in Germany through the buyback. In short: The profile bundles all features for safe searching and trading of firearms and ammunition.
How do I change my user data?
Click the user icon at the top right and then on My Profile. There you can change your password, username, and email address, among other things, and manage your listings.
How do I verify my identity?
Open My Profile via the user icon. There you will find the identity verification that guides you step by step. Have a valid ID document ready. More about identity verification.
Can I rate other users?
Yes, you can rate other users on Gunfinder. If a user stands out negatively, don’t just leave a bad rating, but report the profile to us. If a listing violates gun laws – for example, if a firearm is incorrectly listed as permit-free – report it using the Report listing button at the bottom of the listing page. Beware of suspicious emails
There are currently fake emails circulating that appear to come from us. Do not click any links in suspicious emails and do not disclose any information.
