Your Gunfinder account is free and unlocks all the key features – for example, to communicate with sellers and buy or sell safely.

How do I create an account?

Click the user icon in the top right corner. A menu will open with the Register option at the bottom. Click it, enter your details – you'll then receive an email to confirm your registration.

What features do I get with an account?

With an account you can post your own listings, sell your firearm directly via Trade-In, send messages to other users, and save searches. In short: your profile brings together all the features for safe browsing and trading in firearms and ammunition.

How do I update my account details?

Click the user icon in the top right corner, then click My Profile. There you can change your password, username, and email address, and manage your listings.

How do I verify my identity?

Open My Profile via the user icon. There you'll find the identity verification, which guides you through the process step by step. Have a valid ID document ready. Learn more about identity verification.

Can I rate other users?

Yes, you can rate other users on Gunfinder. If you notice a user behaving suspiciously, don't just leave a bad rating – report the profile to us. If a listing violates the Waffengesetz – for example because a firearm is incorrectly listed as not requiring a permit – report it using the Report listing button at the bottom of the listing page. Watch out for suspicious emails

There are currently fake emails circulating that appear to come from us. Do not click any links in suspicious emails and do not share any personal data.
