Sellier & Bellot has developed into an important supplier of small arms ammunition for military and police forces around the globe. For commercial ammunition, C.I.P. standards are followed, while NATO or former Russian standards are used for military production.
Quality management is ensured through ISO 9001, 14001, and military standards, which are confirmed by a series of certifications and regular audits. The R&D department closely monitors new market trends, enabling S&B to introduce new products. Recent achievements include lead-free bullets for hunting and police applications, as well as patented products such as the Notnox primer composition and infrared tracer bullets.
