American Defense Manufacturing · Buying Guide
Select optic mount by ring size, height, and cant
ADM DELTA-C QD-Cantilever Mount, 30/34 mm, 0 MOA, Black/FDE is categorized by fit, variant, and practical effect – without claimed self-test.
Check fit first
Does the product fit your setup?

Fits well If barrel diameter, Picatinny interface, height, cant, and if applicable, forward offset exactly match optic and firearm.

Rather does not fit If only the ring diameter was checked or objective, turret, case ejection, or eye relief might collide.

Purchase check before ordering Ring diameter, rail standard, height, MOA/MIL cant, offset, and QD version. Compare the chosen variant with the marking on the existing system and with manufacturer documents.

On a compact flattop setup, it’s often not the rail length that’s missing, but the correct position for eye relief. The DELTA-C shifts the scope forward with 2 inch offset, while the clamp can remain on the Picatinny rail of the upper receiver.
This live offer includes four complete QD-Cantilever mounts with 0 MOA
: 30 mm or 34 mm, each in black or FDE. This is optics accessory with integrated, horizontally split rings – not a receiver, an optic, or an additional riser.
Which DELTA-C variant fits?
The previous title only mentions 30 mm and black, although the product contains four protected variants. The decisive factor is first the actual main tube diameter of the scope and only then the color:

30 mm, black: for scopes with 30 mm main tube and black mounts. 30 mm, FDE: technically the same tube size and 0 MOA, but Flat Dark Earth. 34 mm, black: for a confirmed 34 mm main tube. 34 mm, FDE: 34 mm version in Flat Dark Earth.
The lower halves of the rings are part of the mounting base. ADM points out for the DELTA design that the ring sizes are not interchangeable. A later switch from 30 mm to 34 mm therefore requires a correspondingly matching complete mount, not just a different ring set.
What does the 2-inch cantilever change?
ADM primarily assigns the DELTA-C to flattop AR-15 builds and additionally names suitable AR-10 and SCAR platforms. The forward offset creates room for the correct eye relief without placing the mounting base over the transition between upper receiver and handguard. This is especially relevant for scopes with limited usable tube section or when a more forward eyepiece position is needed.
The centerline height for the standard versions offered here is, according to ADM, 1.5 inches above the rail top edge for both 30 mm and 34 mm. The mount has no built-in cant. 0 MOA fits builds where no additional mechanical elevation reserve should be created via the mount. Those who explicitly need 20 MOA must choose a correspondingly marked version.
QD Auto Lock in practice
The ADM Auto Lock system can be adjusted on Picatinny rails within and outside the tolerance range. According to the manufacturer, no proprietary tool is needed for this; fingers or a flat screwdriver suffice for adjustment. The lever direction can be configured for locking forward or backward.
QD is especially useful if the optic is to be removed for transport, maintenance, or a defined alternative build. However, the function does not replace a fixed reference: same rail slot, same stop direction, and correctly adjusted clamping tension are prerequisites for a reproducible mechanical starting position. After every change to ring clamping, lever tension, or mount position, the point of impact must be checked.
Construction and load limit
ADM manufactures the DELTA-C from 6061-T6 aluminum and states 8 oz weight for the current family. The black version is Type III hard anodized according to Mil-Spec; FDE is its own color variant. Horizontally split rings with the lower half integrated into the base reduce separate parts and keep the ring alignment fixed within the one-piece mount.
This robust construction does not fix geometry errors. Main tube diameter, straight tube section, objective clearance, eye relief, and rail space must fit the specific scope and cheek weld. A 34 mm mount must not be combined with a 30 mm main tube and vice versa.

Instructor tip: Determine eye relief from the natural cheek weld
Place the unloaded platform in your usual cheek weld and find the longitudinal position initially without forced head movement. Check the field of view especially at high magnification, as the position offers less tolerance for error there. Only when shoulder contact, cheek weld, and eye position consistently match is the final ring position set.

User note: Use the cantilever instead of the handguard
Keep the QD clamping surface fully on the Picatinny rail of the upper receiver. Use the 2-inch forward offset of the DELTA-C for
die Positioning of the scope, instead of bridging the base over a component joint to the handguard. This way, the mechanical reference remains on one component.

User note: Document a fixed QD reference Write down or mark the rail slot used and determine in which direction the mount rests when closed. If the optic is removed, it must be returned to the same position with unchanged lever setting. Before further use, seating, lever lock, and point of impact must be checked.

Purchase limit and alternatives

Buy if: 30 mm or 34 mm fit exactly to the main tube, a Picatinny interface is available, 2 inch cantilever allows the required eye relief, and the QD function is actually used in your own process. Don’t buy if: a different tube diameter, a 20 MOA forward tilt, a lower or higher centerline, a direct mount, or another rail interface is needed. For a setup without the need for cantilever, a straight mount is the more honest choice.
Those who don’t need cantilever on an AR-10 or SCAR setup will find the straight ADM DELTA QD scope mount the more suitable alternative. If more height is needed for accessory clearance or a deliberately more upright head position, the ADM RECON-H High QD Cantilever mount is the better comparison option. Both links lead to independent alternatives, not to add-ons for the DELTA-C.

Scope of delivery
Confirmed included is a DELTA-C QD cantilever mount with integrated rings in the chosen combination of 30 mm or 34 mm and Black or FDE. Scope, firearm or upper receiver, tools, spare rings, optional ring caps, and other rail accessories are not confirmed as included.

Mounting limit: A currently accessible separate ADM manual for the DELTA-C is not available; the official general ADM mounting manual responds with HTTP 403 when checked. Therefore, no ring torque or thread locker specifications from other ADM products are transferred. Use the current manual of the specific scope and obtain missing DELTA-C values directly from ADM.

Our assessment
The strongest reason to buy is not just the QD function, but the combination of 2 inch cantilever, horizontally integrated ring base, and adjustable Picatinny clamping. Those who need to bring the eye relief further forward on a flattop setup and want to regularly remove the optic in a defined way get a very targeted system solution.
The most common misconception would be to consider the variants only as color choices. 30 mm and 34 mm are not interchangeable technical versions. Without confirmed tube diameter or real need for cantilever and QD, the DELTA-C is unnecessarily specialized.

FAQ
Which variant fits my scope? The main tube diameter must match exactly: 30 mm to 30 mm or 34 mm to 34 mm. Then choose Black or FDE. The objective diameter does not replace this measurement.
Can I later convert from 30 mm to 34 mm? Not with a simple ring set. In the DELTA-C, the ring bottom is integrated into the base.
ert; ADM describes the ring sizes as non-interchangeable. For the other barrel diameter, a suitable complete mount is required. Does the mount have a forward cant? The four offered variants have 0 MOA. If your setup requires an additional 20 MOA forward cant, you need a version explicitly designated as such. What are the 2-inch forward offsets for? They shift the scope forward so that the eye relief can be adjusted on a flattop setup while the mounting base can remain on the upper receiver rail. Does the DELTA-C only fit on AR-15? ADM names flattop AR-15 as the main application and additionally compatible AR-10 and SCAR setups. The prerequisite remains a suitable Picatinny rail and geometry that fits the overall setup. Are scope or tools included? No. Confirmed is the chosen DELTA-C mount with integrated rings and QD clamping. Scope, firearm, tools, spare rings, and optional ring caps are not part of the confirmed delivery. Technical data practically read

Purchase-critical data Ring diameter, rail standard, height, MOA/MIL forward cant, offset, and QD version.

Practical consequence The right geometry ensures clearance, proper eye relief, and usable elevation adjustment range; wrong height or too much forward cant can significantly limit usability.

Avoid limits and bad purchases

Important before mounting and use Mount only on a fully unloaded firearm. Tighten screws diagonally with a suitable torque wrench according to manufacturer specifications; check QD tension and point of impact after initial mounting.

Scope of delivery Included is exclusively the version explicitly named in the existing product text and chosen variant. Depicted firearms, optics, or other accessories are only included if explicitly listed.

Black-Raptor classification: This version makes sense if the purchase-critical dimensions and interfaces are clearly confirmed in advance. If fit is unclear, first check model designation and existing mounting. (Show description in original language)

34 mm, FDE: 34-mm-Ausführung in Flat Dark Earth.
Was verändert der 2-Zoll-Cantilever?
