QD · 2-Inch Cantilever · 0/20 MOA
ADM RECON: Forward offset for eye relief – not just a high mount The RECON is designed for setups where the scope needs to be further forward, but the base should remain fully on the receiver’s Picatinny rail. It uses a 2-inch cantilever for this.
Crucial before buying: tube diameter, cantilever angle, and actual eye position must match. This offer includes 1 inch, 30, 34, and 35 mm as well as 0- and 20-MOA versions.

Fits well / fits less well

Fits well if … … you need forward offset for eye relief on a flattop setup without placing the mount base over a break.
… tube diameter and desired 0-/20-MOA version are already fixed.

Fits less well if … … your scope can already be correctly positioned with a straight mount.
… tube size or cantilever angle are unclear or a lower repeater mount is sought.

Variant selection

Confirmed variants are for 1 inch, 30 mm, 34 mm, and 35 mm. Depending on choice, 0 MOA or 20 MOA is added. 20 MOA shifts the usable elevation adjustment range and is not a general quality upgrade.
Some Shopify option names do not fully specify the cantilever angle. Therefore, do not order based on color or shortened variant text alone.

Practical features

2-Inch Cantilever Provides forward length for eye relief while the base stays on the receiver. This is especially useful on flattop platforms when the optic would otherwise sit too far back.
QD Auto Lock Adjustable Lever Clamp for Picatinny. It makes removal and reattachment easier but does not replace a defined reference groove or point of impact check.

Mounting height according to barrel size Existing data indicate approx. 1.472 inches for 30 mm, 1.550 inches for 34 mm, and 1.570 inches for 35 mm. For 1 inch, the exact height should be checked before purchase.

Objective clearance ADM states clearance for up to a 56 mm objective housing. Protective caps, rail, and specific scope shape can still affect the actual clearance.

Limits, disadvantages & avoiding bad purchases

The RECON solves a length issue. If no forward offset is needed, a straight mount can be functionally more sensible. Also, 20 MOA must fit the scope’s adjustment range and the planned zeroing distance.
For QD: same groove, same stop direction, same clamping force. After removal or modification, the point of impact should be checked.

Technical data with practical interpretation

Barrel sizes 1 inch / 30 / 34 / 35 mm. The main tube diameter must be exact; the objective diameter does not help here.

Cant 0 or 20 MOA depending on variant. 20 MOA can provide additional elevation reserve but must fit the entire ballistic setup.

Material 6061-T6 aluminum, Type III hard anodized. Lightweight and robust, but check fit and screws after a drop or strong impact.

Ring screws Existing ADM data specify max 20–25 in-lb. The lower limit from the scope manufacturer is also decisive.

Scope of delivery
1 × complete ADM RECON QD-Cantilever mount in the chosen tube size, cant, and color. Scope, firearm/receiver, tools, and other rail accessories are not confirmed as included.

FAQ
When do I need the cantilever? When the correct eye relief can only be achieved by placing the mounting base too far forward or over a joint.
Are 20 MOA always better? No. They only make sense if your adjustment range and planned distance benefit from it.
Does a 56 mm objective fit? ADM states clearance up to 56 mm, but the actual setup must still be checked due to caps, housing shape, and rail.
Can I reuse the mount after removal without checking? Mechanically yes, but an identical point of impact must not be assumed without checking.

Black Raptor · honestly assessed
The RECON is strong when its 2-inch forward offset solves a real ergonomic problem. Barrel size and 0/20 MOA are technical decisions – not design options. (Show description in original language)

QD · 2-Zoll-Cantilever · 0/20 MOA

Grenzen, Nachteile & Fehlkauf vermeiden

Material 6061-T6 Aluminium, Type III harteloxiert.

Ringschrauben Vorhandene ADM-Daten nennen maximal 20–25 in-lb.

Black Raptor · ehrlich eingeordnet
