Spuhr QDP-4002 34mm QD block mount with 38mm axis height and 0 MOA – ideal for long, continuous rails, large primary optics, and setups that need to be regularly removed cleanly.

Fits well 34mm scope tube, one-piece Picatinny/STANAG rail, 38mm sight line, no cantilever needed, QD function desired in real use.

Fits less well If the eye relief requires a cantilever, the stock line is significantly lower, additional cant is needed, or the optic only fits on a short or split base.

Buying decision instead of data list

38mm height The higher line creates more space under the objective/cap and can fit ergonomically better on chassis or straight stock geometry. On classic hunting stocks, it may be too high.

Straight block mount The QDP-4002 has no cantilever. The eye relief must be achievable with the available rail length without mounting over component boundaries.

0 MOA The mount adds no additional cant. An already canted weapon rail remains effective; if additional elevation travel via mount angle is needed, a different variant is required.

QD with clear system logic Two locked levers make removal easier. Reproducibility still depends on the same groove, same contact direction, clean rail, and unchanged lever tension.

Compatibility & avoiding wrong purchases
Before buying, five points must match: 34mm main tube, sufficiently long straight ring zones, continuous rigid rail, suitable 38mm axis height, and enough rail length for eye relief. A 56mm objective is not a fit guarantee: the actual outer diameter including cap is decisive. Spuhr also excludes problematic extended turret/elevator housings like Nightforce BEAST or certain US-Optics TPAL/EREK versions with this fixed ring geometry.
Limits & disadvantages

The QDP-4002 does not fix incorrect basic geometry. QD does not replace correct eye relief, 38mm does not replace a suitable cheek rest, and 0 MOA does not create additional elevation adjustment travel. If a sighting device is used, its axis height, distance, recoil clearance, and manufacturer approval must fit separately. QD also does not automatically guarantee zero retention after each reattachment – checking remains mandatory.
Technical data with practical interpretation

Model
QDP-4002 – fixed defined 34mm QD block geometry
etrie.
Aufnahme
MIL-STD-1913 / STANAG 4694 – both clamping points must be on the same rigid rail.
Mittelrohr
34 mm – barrel diameter alone is not enough; ring zones and turret block must also fit.
Achshöhe
38 mm / 1.5″ – more clearance and often useful on higher chassis/stock lines.
Neigung
0 MIL / 0 MOA – neutral, adds no additional cant.
Vorversatz
None – for tight receiver geometry, a cantilever model may be more suitable.
Länge
121 mm mount body – clamp fully on a common rail.
Gewicht
267 g – robust QD system instead of minimal weight.
Material
7000 series aluminum, hard anodized – manufacturer specification.
Ringdrehmoment
2.0 Nm or lower specification from the optic manufacturer.

Lieferumfang
Spuhr QDP-4002, 10° leveling wedge with screw length gauge and manufacturer instructions. Not included: scope, firearm, attachment device, torque tool, and other interface accessories.
Sichere Anwendung
Mount fully inserted in the same documented groove, press forward against the groove flank before closing, and close QD lever only with correctly adjusted tension. Check zero after reinstallation. Tighten ring screws only according to current manufacturer or optic specifications; additional lubrication or threadlocker changes the preload.
FAQ
Is the QDP-4002 automatically suitable for every 56 mm scope? No. 56 mm refers to the front lens, not the actual outer diameter. Cap, rail height, objective contour, and ring zones must be checked separately. When is a cantilever more useful? When the correct eye relief requires the ring block to be positioned further forward than the existing rigid rail allows without bridging. What does 0 MOA mean in practice? The mount adds no additional cant. Any existing rail cant remains part of the overall system. Is the zero guaranteed to remain identical after QD reinstallation? No. Same groove, same contact direction, and correct lever tension improve repeatability; zero should still be confirmed.
Black-Raptor classification: strong choice for a 34 mm setup on a long rail when 38 mm height and QD are really needed. Don’t choose just because “QD” or “high” sounds more attractive – eye relief, stock line, and system angle decide. (Show description in original language)

Gerade Blockmontage Die QDP-4002 besitzt keinen Cantilever.

0 MOA Die Montage fügt keine weitere Vorneigung hinzu.

Neigung
0 MIL / 0 MOA – neutral, addiert keine weitere Vorneigung.
Vorversatz
Gewicht
267 g – robustes QD-System statt Minimalgewicht.
Material
7000er-Aluminium, harteloxiert – Herstellerangabe.
Ringdrehmoment
2,0 Nm bzw. niedrigere Vorgabe des Optikherstellers.

Lieferumfang
Spuhr QDP-4002, 10°-Nivellierkeil mit Schraubenlängenlehre und Herstelleranleitung. Nicht enthalten: Zielfernrohr, Waffe, Vorsatzgerät, Drehmomentwerkzeug und weiteres Interface-Zubehör.
Sichere Anwendung
Was bedeutet 0 MOA praktisch? Die Montage fügt keine zusätzliche Neigung hinzu. Eine vorhandene Schienenneigung bleibt Teil des Gesamtsystems. Bleibt der Nullpunkt nach QD-Wiederanbau garantiert identisch? Nein.
