HML stands for Hunting Medium Light in the Steel Action bolt-action rifle – in contrast to the HSL (Hunting Short Light). The rifle, balanced in its properties, is suitable for strong calibers from .30-06 upwards, while being similar in its slim form to the HSL version.
The Stock
The one-piece stock made of walnut class 1 with a dark ebony finish combines ergonomics and elegance. It has a straight back, and the shooting hand comfortably grips the pistol grip. The grip surfaces have a fish scale texture and feel pleasant in the hands. The stock features Halder Push&Go sling swivels.
The System
The components of the system are made of tempered steel. Their nitrocarburizing effectively protects the surfaces from corrosion. The trigger weight is adjustable in the range between 500 and 2,500 g. The Picatinny rail provides a solid mounting base. The HML rifle has a two-row steel magazine that can be changed with one hand. Its capacity is 5 cartridges. Loading is also possible through the bolt. The bolt can be removed for cleaning without tools.
The Barrel
The length of the barrel is either 51 or 56 cm, depending on the caliber and choice. It is firmly and precisely screwed in, has no sights, and is equipped with an M15x1 muzzle thread.

HML steht bei der Steel Action-Repetierbüchse für Hunting Medium Light – im Gegensatz zu den HSL (Hunting Short Light). Das in seinen Eigenschaften ausgewogene Gewehr ist für starke Kaliber ab .30-06 aufwärts geeignet, ist dabei aber in seiner schlanken Form der HSL-Version ähnlich.
Der Schaft
Der einteilige Schaft aus Nussbaum der Schaftholzklasse 1 mit einem dunklen Ebenholzabschluss vereint Ergonomie und Eleganz. Er hat einen geraden Rücken, die Schusshand fasst unverkrampft den Pistolengriff. Die Griffflächen haben eine Fischhaut-Oberflächenstruktur und liegen haptisch angenehm in den Händen. An der Schäftung befinden sich Halder Push&Go Riemenbügel.
Das System
Die Komponenten des Systems sind aus vergütetem Stahl gefertigt. Ihre Nitrocarburierung bewahrt die Oberflächen effektiv vor Korrosion. Das Abzugsgewicht ist in dem Bereich zwischen 500 und 2.500 g verstellbar. Die Picatinny-Schiene sorgt für eine solide Montagebasis. Die HML-Büchse hat ein zweireihiges Stahlmagazin, das einhändig wechselbar ist. Seine Kapazität beträgt 5-Patronen. Das Laden ist auch über den Verschluss möglich. Zum Reinigen kann der Verschluss ohne Werkzeug entnommen werden.
Der Lauf
Die Länge des Laufs beträgt je nach Kaliber und Wahl 51 oder 56 cm. Er ist fest und präzise verschraubt, hat keine Visierung und ist mit einem M15x1-Mündungsgewinde versehen.
