The dimensions of the buffer cartridges correspond to the original caliber. Buffer cartridges catch the firing pin when striking. If this were done with an empty chamber, the process could damage the firing pin. In older firearms, it could even lead to the breakage of the firing pin. Inserting a buffer cartridge dissipates the force and thus protects the firing pin.
Also practical for practice shooting and for training purposes in hunting education.

Die Abmessungen der Pufferpatronen entsprechen dem Originalkaliber. Pufferpatronen fangen den Schlagbolzen beim Abschlagen ab. Wenn dies bei leerem Patronenlager durchgeführt würde, könnte der Vorgang den Schlagbolzen beschädigen. Bei älteren Waffen kann es darüber hinaus sogar zum Bruch des Schlagbolzens führen. Das Einlegen einer Pufferpatrone leitet die Kraft ab und schont so den Schlagbolzen.
Auch praktisch zum Übungsschießen und für Schulungszwecke bei der Jagdausbildung.
