The X-Pro 10x42 binoculars from Minox, produced in Wetzlar and versatile in use, deliver excellent images even at long distances with its 10x magnification and have a field of view of 130 m at 1,000 m. The Optics
The Minox X-Pro 10x42 binoculars are equipped with high-quality ED glasses that provide sharp, contrast-rich, and detailed images with high edge sharpness and a minimum of chromatic aberration. The transmission value is over 90%, which leads to good results even in poor lighting conditions. The lenses are FMC multi-coated, which reduces reflections. The close focus range starts at just 1.5 m, allowing observations, such as of butterflies, at the shortest distances. The eyecups are adjustable and lockable for use with glasses.
The Housing
The optical performance is housed in compact dimensions of 156×123×67 mm and weighs only 875 g. The ergonomically designed shape is kept classically simple, the feel of the housing surface is extremely pleasant, and the operation with the large focusing wheel on the bridge is intuitive, while the instrument remains grippy even when used in the rain or with gloves. To prevent internal fogging, the housing is filled with nitrogen, and the binoculars are waterproof up to a depth of 1 m for 30 minutes, corresponding to protection class IPX7.

Das in Wetzlar produzierte und vielseitig einsetzbare Fernglas X-Pro 10x42 von Minox liefert mit seiner 10-fachen Vergrößerung ausgezeichnete Bilder auch auf weite Distanzen und hat dabei ein Sehfeld von 130 m auf 1.000 m. Außerdem machen seine kompakte Maße und sein leichtes Gewicht das Fernglas zum idealen Begleiter bei jeder Jagdsituation.
Die Optik
Das Minox X-Pro 10x42-Fernglas ist mit hochwertigen ED-Gläsern versehen, die gestochen scharfe sowie kontrast- und detailreiche Bilder mit einer hohen Randschärfe und einem Minimum an chromatischer Aberration liefern. Der Transmissionswert liegt bei über 90 %, was auch bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen zu guten Ergebnissen führt. Die Linsen sind FMC-mehrschichtvergütet, was Reflexionen reduziert. Der Naheinstellbereich beginnt bereits bei 1,5 m, so dass Beobachtungen, wie z. B. von Schmetterlingen, auf kürzeste Distanz möglich sind. Die Augenmuscheln sind für den Einsatz mit Brille einstell- und arretierbar.
Das Gehäuse
Die optische Leistung steckt, wie gesagt, in kompakten Maßen von 156×123×67 mm und bringt nur ein geringes Gewicht von 875 g auf. Das ergonomisch durchdachte Design ist klassisch schlicht gehalten, die Haptik der Gehäuseoberfläche ist äußerst angenehm, die Bedienung mit dem großen Fokussierrad am Steg erfolgt intuitiv und das Instrument bleibt griffig auch beim Einsatz im Regen oder mit Handschuhen. Gegen inneres Beschlagen ist das Gehäuse mit Stickstoff gefüllt, das Fernglas ist bis zu einer Tiefe von 1 m für 30 Minuten wasserdicht, was der Schutzklasse IPX7 entspricht.
