The Hawke Vantage 30 WA SF IR 4-16x50 riflescope without rail is a compact wide-angle riflescope with a solid 30 mm main tube. Its high turrets are equipped with quick adjustments.
The Optics
Despite the 16x magnification, the good field of view of the Hawke Vantage 30 WA SF IR 4-16x50 is 9.6-2.6 m at 100 m, and the eye relief is 90 mm, which is advantageous when using large calibers with strong recoil. The lenses of the 50 mm objective are treated with an 11-layer fully multi-coated finish. The Hawke H2 optical system is extremely light-transmissive and parallax-free from 9 m to ∞.
The Rimfire .17 HMR Reticle (16×)
The illuminated reticle of the Vantage 30 WA SF IR 4-16x50 is adjustable in 5 red and 5 green brightness levels. It is located in the second focal plane. The reticle is etched in glass and extremely robust. Zeroing is done via ¼ MOA adjustment units, with an elevation and windage adjustment range of 96 MOA. The hold point determination is simple, and the precision with illuminated hold points for all lighting conditions is excellent. Zeroing is done at 13.1x magnification for a 100 m zero position.
The Housing
The housing is made of robust aluminum, it is waterproof and filled with nitrogen to prevent internal fogging. The riflescope is shockproof with all calibers. The zoom ring has an optimally high rotational resistance, which facilitates precise adjustments. The locking turrets are high and have quick adjustments.

Das Einschießen erfolgt über ¼ MOA-Justiereinheiten, der Bereich der Höhen- und Seitenverstellung liegt bei 96 MOA. Die Haltepunktermittlung ist einfach, die Präzision mit beleuchteten Haltepunkten für alle Lichtbedingungen hervorragend. Das Einschießen erfolgt bei 13,1x-Vergrößerung für 100 m Nulllage.
Das Gehäuse
Das Gehäuse ist aus robustem Aluminium gefertigt, es ist wasserdicht und gegen inneres Beschlagen mit Stickstoff gefüllt. Das Zielfernrohr ist schussfest mit allen Kalibern. Der Zoomring hat einen optimal hohen Drehwiderstand, was eine präzise Justierung erleichtert. Die Arretiertürme sind hoch und haben eine Schnellverstellung.
