Baffin Bruce Mid – robust hunting and hiking shoe for demanding terrain
The Baffin Bruce Mid is designed as a hunting and hiking shoe for situations where the ground, weather, and distance are challenging. The mid-cut design stabilizes the ankle and provides security in the field, in rough terrain, and on longer tours. The upper material made of leather and nylon protects against abrasion and reliably keeps moisture out.
Inside, a firmly integrated multi-layer inner shoe system with Thermawick™ and B-Tek™ Foam works to wick moisture away, provide noticeable cushioning, and maintain a stable foot climate even during movement. This is supported by the B-Tek™ Dry Waterproof Breathable membrane, which is constructed to be waterproof while remaining breathable.
On slippery surfaces, the sole shows its strength. The rubber sole with IceBite® compound grips significantly better on wet stone, ice, and mud than classic rubber compounds. The self-cleaning profile maintains constant ground contact even on muddy surfaces.
A TPU shaft protects against twisting, while the external heel counter guides the foot cleanly. The PU midsole cushions and insulates at the same time – an advantage during longer marches and cooler temperatures.

Baffin Bruce Mid – robuster Jagd- und Wanderschuh für anspruchsvolles Gelände
Der Baffin Bruce Mid ist als Jagd- und Wanderschuh für Einsätze gedacht, bei denen Untergrund, Wetter und Strecke fordern. Der halbhohe Schnitt stabilisiert den Knöchel und gibt Sicherheit im Revier, im Gelände und auf längeren Touren. Das Obermaterial aus Leder und Nylon schützt vor Abrieb und hält Nässe zuverlässig draußen.
Im Inneren arbeitet ein fest integriertes Mehrlagen-Innenschuhsystem mit Thermawick™ und B-Tek™ Foam. Es leitet Feuchtigkeit ab, dämpft spürbar und hält das Fußklima auch bei Bewegung stabil. Unterstützt wird das durch die B-Tek™ Dry Waterproof Breathable-Membran, die wasserdicht aufgebaut ist und gleichzeitig atmungsaktiv bleibt.
Auf rutschigem Untergrund zeigt die Sohle ihre Stärke. Die Gummisohle mit IceBite®-Mischung greift auf nassem Stein, Eis und Matsch deutlich besser als klassische Gummimischungen. Das selbstreinigende Profil hält auch bei schlammigem Untergrund konstanten Bodenkontakt.
Ein TPU-Schaft schützt vor Verdrehen, der externe Fersencounter führt den Fuß sauber. Die PU-Zwischensohle dämpft und isoliert zugleich – ein Vorteil bei längeren Märschen und kühleren Temperaturen.
