Blaser System R8 Ultimate X Black Brown Without Magazine Semi-Weight / VSR / VSK

As a base system, the R8 Ultimate X System from Blaser offers all relevant features of the R8 family in a version specifically designed for individual completion by gunsmiths or demanding users. The split rear and front stock is precisely crafted and visually coordinated with the black anodized R8 system housing. The stock is delivered as standard for right-handed shooters with black elastomer inlays on the pistol grip, forend, and cheek piece; impregnated leather grip inlays or further customizations are available as options. The hole stock geometry ensures a relaxed position of the shooting hand and arm in all shooting positions — prone, offhand, or supported — and significantly reduces typical shooter errors such as "flinching."

The Blaser-typical straight pull mechanism remains the heart of the system and allows for quick, fluid shot sequences with minimal disturbance of the shooting position. The manual cocking safety system offers the familiar safety philosophy of the R8: conscious cocking only immediately before the shot, easy uncocking without opening the bolt, and a locking mechanism that prevents unintentional cocking without an inserted magazine/trigger unit — a proven safety feature that is retained even in the pure system with stock.

The Ultimate-X equipment allows for individual adjustments: A pre-installed height adjustment of the stock improves the sighting behavior in the scope, and the retrofittable adjustable butt plate allows for the adaptation of the stock length to personal body measurements. Additionally, optional recoil damping systems and numerous accessory solutions can be mounted.
