Custom-made for the Secacam 7, the metal housing from Zeiss protects the wildlife camera securely against environmental influences, theft, and vandalism.

The solid steel metal housing from Zeiss fits the Secacam 7 wildlife camera perfectly. The cutouts for the controls are precisely made, ensuring that operation and handling are not restricted. The connection at the bottom of the wildlife camera is also accessible in the housing for an external power source. There is a small gap between the camera and the housing that acts as a buffer against impacts and other external influences. The slits on the side allow rainwater to drain directly.

A magnet has been implemented in the locking element, ensuring that the housing is always completely closed. Additionally, if needed, a padlock can be attached to the housing, or a cable lock can be secured through the designated eyelets on the back (padlock and cable lock are not included). The full camouflage pattern effectively conceals the Secacam 7 wildlife camera in its surroundings.

Mounting the housing is incredibly simple. Various options are available:

Using a ¼’’ threaded opening, the housing can be screwed onto tripod mounts.
The housing has, as mentioned, eyelets for securing with a cable lock, providing additional security.
Through two slits, the tree strap included with the wildlife camera can be threaded.
Finally, the housing can be directly screwed onto a surface, such as a house wall.

Maßgeschneidert auf die Secacam 7, schützt das Metallgehäuse von Zeiss die Wildkamera sicher vor Umweltweinflüssen, Diebstahl und Vandalismus.

Das aus solidem Stahl gefertigte Metallgehäuse von Zeiss umschließt die Secacam 7 Wildkamera passgenau. Die Aussparungen für die Bedienelemente sind präzise ausgeschnitten, so dass Betrieb und Bedienung nicht eingeschränkt werden. Der Anschluss unten an der Wildkamera ist auch im Gehäuse für eine externe Stromquelle zugänglich. Zwischen Kamera und Gehäuse besteht ein kleiner Abstand, der als Puffer bei Stößen und sonstiger äußerer Einwirkung fungiert. Durch die an der Seite angebrachten Schlitze kann Regenwasser direkt abfließen.

In dem Verschlusselement wurde ein Magnet implementiert, der dafür sorgt, dass das Gehäuse stets vollständig verschlossen ist. Zusätzlich kann bei Bedarf an dem Gehäuse ein Vorhängeschloss oder durch dafür vorgesehene Ösen an der Rückseite ein Kabelschloss angebracht werden (Vorhänge- und Kabelschloss sind nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten). Das vollflächige Camouflage-Muster tarnt die Secacam 7-Wildkamera wirkungsvoll in ihrer Umgebung.

Die Montage des Gehäuses ist denkbar einfach. Diverse Möglichkeiten stehen zur Wahl:

Mittels einer ¼‘‘-Gewindeöffnung kann das Gehäuse auf Stativhalterungen geschraubt werden.
Das Gehäuse hat, wie gesagt, Ösen zur Befestigung mit einem Kabelschloss, was für zusätzliche Sicherheit sorgt.
Durch zwei Schlitze kann der Baumgurt, der im Lieferumfang der Wildkamera enthalten ist, gezogen werden.
Schließlich kann das Gehäuse direkt an einer Oberfläche, wie z. B. einer Hauswand, angeschraubt werden.
