The "S" stands for "Superior" at Benelli, referring not only to the exclusive aesthetics but also to the high quality of mechanics and material processing.
The Stock
The buttstock in this compact version is 2 cm shorter than in the standard version, with a length of 34.5 cm. This benefits women and shorter men. It is equipped with the recoil reduction system Progressive Comfort developed by Benelli. This system automatically responds to the ammunition used for optimal compensation. The complete stock made of high-quality walnut class 3 has been treated with an oil finish that highlights the grain beautifully. The shaping of the stock and pistol grip ensures a pleasant tactile handling in a natural body position, without causing cramping. The back and cap of the stock are elegantly finished in black.
The Receiver
The black housing is effectively protected against corrosion and mechanical damage by an anodized Ergal finish. The plate of the locking system securely locks the barrel base, ensuring that the shooting pressure remains in the base and reduces the load on the rotating bolts. The steel lock of the 828 S A.I. Black has a long service life and reduces the mechanical stress on the receiver. This version is designed for caliber 12/76.
The Barrels
The "A.I." in the model designation of the 828 S A.I. Black stands for "Advanced Impact" and refers to the chokes, which, in conjunction with the barrel profile developed by Benelli, result in high ballistic accuracy. Rücken und Kappe des Schafts sind in elegantem Schwarz gehalten.
Die BasküleDas schwarze Gehäuse ist durch ein eloxiertes Ergal-Finish wirksam gegen Korrosion und mechanische Beschädigung geschützt. Die Platte des Verschlusssystems verriegelt die Laufbasis einwandfrei, so dass der Schießdruck in der Basis bleibt und die Belastung der Rotationsbolzen reduziert. Der Stahlverschluss der 828 S A.I. Black hat eine lange Lebensdauer und vermindert die mechanische Belastung der Basküle. Diese Version ist für das Kaliber 12/76 ausgelegt.
