The Stock
The buttstock in this version is 1 cm shorter than in the standard version and has a length of 36.5 cm. This particularly benefits female hunters. It is equipped with the recoil reduction system Progressive Comfort developed by Benelli. This system automatically responds to the specific ammunition used for optimal energy compensation. The complete stock made of high-quality walnut class 3 has been treated with an oil finish that brings out the grain beautifully. The shaping of the stock and pistol grip ensures handling in a natural body position without causing cramping. The back and cap of the stock are elegantly kept in black.
The Receiver
The black housing is effectively protected against corrosion and mechanical damage by an anodized Ergal finish. The plate of the locking system locks the barrel base perfectly, ensuring that the shooting pressure remains in the base and reduces the load on the rotating bolts. The steel closure of the 828 S A.I. Black has a long service life and reduces the mechanical stress on the receiver. This version is designed for caliber 12/76.
The Barrels
The "A.I." in the model designation stands for "Advanced Impact" and refers to the chokes, which, in conjunction with the barrel profile developed by Benelli, result in high ballistic accuracy. Hunters experience great precision in the speed of the shot cloud, in target ballistic performance, and in shot patterns. The ventilated sight rail made of carbon fiber allows the overall weight of the rifle to be kept at around 3 kg. The barrels have a length of 71 cm.
