Merkel RX HELIX Lady-DS Stock
The stock of the RX Helix Lady DS has been completely rethought. From the perspective of women. A highly dampening recoil pad at the end of the shortened stock absorbs the recoil. The steep pistol grip allows for a relaxed position of the shooting hand and controlled trigger operation. The stock back has been kept straight and equipped with a Monte Carlo cheek piece. Intuitively, the straight-pull repeater glides into the shooting position. Finally, the female hunter is well equipped for hunting with all eventualities.
Straight-Pull Repeating System with Manual Cocking
The HELIX system: Straight-pull repeating system with a 1:2 gear ratio results in an extremely short cycling distance. The straight pull stands for the fastest cycling in the shooting position. It allows for lightning-fast shot sequences while maintaining a relaxed body posture without lowering the weapon. The shooter's eye and the barrel of the weapon remain focused on the target. The time gained in target acquisition leads to a more secure shot release. The manual cocking safety system is considered one of the best safety systems. No other mechanical safety can offer the security of a relaxed firing pin spring. The Merkel RX Helix is consciously cocked just before the shot: the cocking slider is pushed forward. If no shot is fired, a light pressure on the cocking slider is sufficient to let it slide back and relax the system.
System & Assembly
The closed system housing prevents contamination from the outside and inside. The 6-lug rotary head lock directly locks in the barrel and stands for maximum precision. The modular system allows for easy caliber changes. Only the barrel and chamber head need to be exchanged. The weapon can be disassembled almost tool-free and in seconds, making it easy to transport. The top of the bolt sleeve is designed as a Weaver rail. All commercially available Weaver mounts can be used for mounting a riflescope.
Merkel I-Sight Sighting System and Barrel Thread M 15x1
The RX HELIX Lady DS comes standard with the I-Sight system, meaning the sight is not only easily removable but also can be repositioned backward on the barrel, allowing any suppressor, whether on- or over-barrel, to be mounted on the existing muzzle thread M 15x1.

Merkel RX HELIX Lady-DS-Schaft
Der Schaft der RX Helix Lady DS wurde komplett neu gedacht. Und zwar aus der Perspektive der Frau. Eine stark dämpfende Schaftkappe am Ende des gekürzten Schaftes, nimmt den Rückstoß auf. Der steile Pistolengriff ermöglicht eine entspannte Haltung der Schießhand und eine kontrollierte Betätigung des Abzugs. Der Schaftrücken wurde gerade belassen und mit einer Monte-Carlo-Schaftbacke versehen. Intuitiv gleitet der Geradezug-Repetierer in die Schießposition. Endlich ist auch die Jägerin bestens für die Jagd mit allen Eventualitäten gerüstet.
Geradezug-Repetiersystem mit Handspannung
Das HELIX-System: Geradezug-Repetiersystem mit 1:2-Übersetzung bewirkt einen extrem kurzen Repetierweg. Der Geradezug steht für schnellstes Repetieren im Anschlag. Er ermöglicht blitzschnelle Schussfolgen bei entspannter Körperhaltung ohne das Absetzen der Waffe. Das Auge des Schützen und der Lauf der Waffe bleiben auf das Ziel gerichtet. Der Zeitgewinn bei der Zielaufnahme führt zu einer sichereren Schussabgabe. Das Handspann-Sicherungssystem gilt als eines der besten Sicherungssysteme. Keine andere mechanische Sicherung kann die Sicherheit einer entspannten Schlagfeder bieten. Die Merkel RX Helix wird bewusst und erst vor dem Schuss gespannt: der Spannschieber wird nach vorne geschoben. Wird nicht geschossen, so genügt ein leichter Druck auf den Spannschieber, um ihn zurückgleiten zu lassen und das System zu entspannen.
System & Montage
Das geschlossene Systemgehäuse verhindert Verschmutzungen von außen und innen. Der 6-Warzen-Drehkopfverschluss verriegelt direkt im Lauf und steht für maximale Präzision. Das modulare System ermöglicht problemlos einen Kaliberwechsel. Lediglich der Lauf und der Kammerkopf müssen getauscht werden. Die Waffe ist fast werkzeuglos, sekundenschnell zerlegt und kann bequem transportiert werden. Die Oberseite der Verschlusshülse ist als Weaverschiene ausgebildet. Alle handelsüblichen Weavermontagen können für die Montage eines Zielfernrohrs verwendet werden.
Merkel I-Sight-Visierung und Laufgewinde M 15x1
Die RX HELIX Lady DS ist serienmäßig mit dem I-Sight-System ausgerüstet, d. h. die Visierung ist nicht nur einfach abnehmbar, sondern auch nach hinten auf dem Lauf versetzbar, so dass jeder Schalldämpfer, ob On- und Overbarrel, auf das vorhandene Mündungsgewinde M 15x1 montiert werden kann.
