The Stock

Die M25 Lightweight Thumbhole-Repetierbüchse von Savage sieht nicht nur gut aus, sie ist in dieser Ausführung für das schnelle und präzise Kaliber .17 Hornet ideal für die Jagd auf Raubwild. Der Matchlauf prädestiniert das Gewehr auch für Sportschützen.

Der Schaft
Die M25 Lightweight Thumbhole-Büchse hat einen Lochschaft aus Schichtholzlaminat. Damit ist das Jagdgewehr ein wahrer Eyecatcher. Besonders schmuck wirkt der ventilierte Vorderschaft. Der haptisch angenehme Griff mit dem „Daumenloch“ (Thumbhole) lässt die Schusshand nicht verkrampfen.

Der Abzug
Die M25 Lightweight Thumbhole-Büchse hat ein von Savage werkseitig entwickeltes AccuTrigger®-System. Sein Winderstand ist zwischen ca. 450 g bis ca. 1.800 g (1-4 engl. Pfund) einstellbar. Dies sorgt dafür, dass der Abzug den individuellen Ansprüchen der Jägerinnen und Jäger entsprechend immer trockensteht und glasklar bricht. Das 4 Schuss fassende Kastenmagazin ist herausnehmbar.

Der Lauf
Der 61 cm lange mattschwarze Matchlauf der M25 Lightweight Thumbhole ist auf sehr hartem Karbonstahl gefertigt und zeichnet sich durch eine große Präzision aus. Er hat ein M15x1-Mündungsgewinde. Die dem .17 Hornet geschuldete flache Flugbahn verleiht dem Jagdgewehr auch auf weite Distanzen eine große Zuverlässigkeit. In dieser Ausführung hat der Lauf keine Visierung. Ein Weaver-Schiene für die Zieloptik ist vormontiert.
