The included decoy holders (6 pcs) are simply inserted into the belly side of your decoys (a hole may need to be drilled in the bird if not already present). The birds are then simply placed on the carrying arms, which were previously inserted into the motor unit. When you turn on the carousel, the motor rotates the birds at short intervals. Since the birds are only placed on, they also rotate slightly around their own axis due to the motor's rotation. This creates a realistic and lively decoy image. DECOY- Karussell-Einheit Diese Karussell-Einheit ist ein idealer Artikel wenn Sie bereits vorhandene, eigene Lockvögel (Tauben, Krähen, Elstern etc.) verwenden möchten. Die mitgelieferten Decoy-Halterungen (6 Stck) werden einfach in die Bauchseite Ihrer Lockvögel gesteckt (evtl. muss ein Loch in den Vogel gebohrt werden, wenn nicht schon vorhanden). Die Vögel werden dann einfach auf die Tragearme, die zuvor in die Motoreinheit gesteckt wurden, aufgesetzt. Wenn Sie das Karussell nun einschalten, dreht der Motor die Vögel in kurzen Intervallen. Da die Vögel nur aufgesetzt sind, drehen sich diese durch die Motordrehung ebenfalls leicht um die eigene Achse. So entsteht ein realistisches und lebendig wirkendes Lockbild. AA-Batterien (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten) Das Karussell imitiert 3 Krähen, Tauben oder welche Lockvögel Sie auch immer verwenden möchten, bei der Futteraufnahme und vermittelt den "echten" Vöglen durch die ruhigen und langsamen Bewegungen der verwendeten Decoys ein friedliches und gutes Futterangebot. Selbst erfahrene und misstrauische Altvögel können hier nicht widerstehen. Wenn Sie das Karussell in der Mitte des normalen Lockbildes aufbauen wollen, so lassen Sie einen ca. 5 Meter großen Fleck in der Mitte frei. Auf dieser Freifläche also keine Lockkrähen aufbauen. So haben die Neuankömmlinge einen "Guten Landeplatz" und werden sicher unmittelbar neben oder vor dem Karussell landen. Bauen Sie den Magneten am Lockbildrand auf, achten Sie darauf dass auch hier die Schrotschussentfernung für den "Landeplatz" nicht weiter als 15 Meter betragen sollte. Das Lockbild ansich sollte mit mit ca. 20 -50 Lockkrähen oder Tauben bestückt werden. Wobei die dem Schirm am nahesten stehende Krähe ca. 5 Meter entfernt, und die weiteste nicht mehr als 25 Meter entfernt sein sollte. Bei der Flugwildjagd heißt das Motto wirklich: "Viel hilft viel" ! z.B. viele Krähen bedeutet für die Artgenossen ein reichhaltiges Futterangebot und einen sicherer Fraßplatz. In unseren Praxistests erwies sich der Krähenmagnet als ein Top-Artikel auf den wir nun bei keiner Krähenjagd mehr verzichten würden. Auch andere Vögel, wie z.B. Tauben, Elstern und auch Gänse, fühlen sich durch das Karussell angezogen und fallen häufig dieses Futterbild ein.
