As a result, the GECO Plus mushrooms almost without loss of projectile parts and reliably penetrates even heavy game and bone hits. The firm connection between the lead core and jacket also ensures clean game meat, as hardly any residues are left behind. The deformation is controlled by the externally visible predetermined breaking points in the jacket, giving the projectile its effectiveness.

Das GECO Plus pilzt dadurch fast ohne Verlust von Gesschossteilen auf und schlägt selbst bei schwerem Wild und Knochentreffern zuverlässig durch. Die feste Verbindung von Bleikern und Mantel sorgt zudem für sauberes Wildbret, da kaum Rückstände zurückbleiben. Die Deformation wird durch die außen sichtbaren Sollbruchstellen im Mantel gesteuert und gibt dem Geschoss seine Wirksamkeit.
