The new CZ 457 family is the successor to the proven CZ 455 series and features a thoughtful, modular design that combines classic style with modern manufacturing. Compared to existing models and other manufacturers, the 457 series is a step ahead of the competition in terms of improved safety, accuracy, and longevity.

The new CZ 457 models have the following advantages:

- Cylinder lock with a reduced opening angle of 30° from 60° (compared to the CZ 455)
- Signal pin on the lock as a cocking indicator – sliding safety
- New, 62% lighter firing pin
- Bedding system for increased precision
- Adjustable trigger – 800 g to 1500 g
- Exceptionally durable corrosion protection coating on steel parts for a long lifespan

Model Thumbhole
The 457 Thumbhole model is equipped with a thumbhole stock made of laminated wood. The ergonomic stock is suitable for both right- and left-handed users. It sits wonderfully stable and secure in the shoulder. The weapon is newly designed in the current PRS style (Precision Rifle Series). The trigger blade embraces the trigger finger, thus increasing shot control and precision. The strong match barrel with muzzle brake is cold-hammered and free-floating for maximum precision. The CZ 457 Thumbhole is an optical highlight for "hole-in-hole precision."

Modell Thumbhole
Das Modell 457 Thumbhole ist mit einem Lochschaft aus Schichtholz ausgestattet. Der ergonomische Schaft ist für Rechts-, sowie für Linkshänder geeignet. Er liegt wunderbar stabil und sicher im Anschlag. Die Waffe ist im aktuellen PRS-Stil (Precision Rifle Series) neu designt. Das Abzugszüngel umschmeichelt den Abzugsfinger und erhöht somit die Schusskontrolle und Präzision. Der starke Matchlauf mit Mündungsbremse ist kaltgehämmert und freischwingend für höchste Präzision. Die CZ 457 Thumbhole ist ein optisches Highlight für "Loch in Loch Präzision".
