A powerful lens combined with the 12μm professional thermal imaging sensor offers exclusive discovery possibilities. An object 1.8 meters tall can be detected at a distance of 950 meters in complete darkness.
12 µm Thermal Imaging Sensor
The new 12 µm thermal imaging sensor enables higher magnification as well as greater observation distance. This also allowed for the construction of a very compact housing.
Robust All-Metal Housing
The metal construction made of magnesium alloy ensures the device's shape rigidity and stress resistance while being lightweight and extremely ergonomic.
High Optical Magnification
Axion offers the highest magnification in the class of compact thermal imaging devices. The optical magnification can be increased through digital zoom to effectively identify observation objects.
Immediate Power-On
Thanks to innovative electronics, the device can practically start up immediately. The quick start helps save energy and extend operating time. The Axion can be reactivated very quickly if needed.
LCOS Microdisplay
The high-contrast LCOS microdisplay is characterized by its good resolution and ensures a sharp and vividly colored image.
Absolutely Waterproof
IPX7 water protection safeguards the Axion against heavy rain, snow, or other precipitation. The device can even withstand submersion for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter.
Lightweight
Low weight becomes a particularly important parameter when it comes to long hikes, where every gram of equipment counts and must be carried on the back. The Axion weighs about 300 grams - no more than a normal rangefinder, yet offers exceptionally many features.
Picture-in-Picture Mode
The activated Picture-in-Picture function displays a small window with the zoomed part of the image at the top of the screen.

Große Entdeckungsdistanz
Ein leistungsstarkes Objektiv zusammen mit dem 12μm professionellen Wärmebildsensor bieten exklusive Entdeckungsmöglichkeiten. Ein 1,8 Meter hohes Objekt kann in absoluter Dunkelheit auf 950 Meter Distanz entdeckt werden.
12 µm Wärmebildsensor
Der neue Wärmebildsensor mit 12 µm ermöglicht eine höhere Vergrößerung sowie eine größere Beobachtungsdistanz. Ebenfalls konnte so, dass sehr kompakte Gehäuse konstruiert werden.
Robustes Ganzmetallgehäuse
Die Metallkonstruktion aus Magnesiumlegierung sichert dem Gerät die Formsteifigkeit und Spannungsfestigkeit bei geringem Gewicht und extrem guter Ergonomie.
Hohe optische Vergrößerung
Axion bietet die höchste Vergrößerung in der Klasse der kompakten Wärmebildgeräte. Die optische Vergrößerung kann durch digitales Zoom erhöht werden, um die Beobachtungsobjekte effektiv zu identifizieren.

Dank der innovativen Elektronik kann das Gerät praktisch sofort starten. Der Schnell-Start hilft Energie zu sparen und die Betriebsdauer zu verlängern. Das Axion kann bei Bedarf sehr schnell reaktiviert werden.

IPX7 Wasserschutz sichert das Axion vor heftigem Regen, Schnee oder anderen Niederschlägen ab. Das Gerät übersteht sogar ein Untertauchen von 30 Minuten und bei 1 Meter Wassertiefe.
Geringes Gewicht
Geringes Gewicht wird zu einem besonders wichtigen Parameter, wenn es um lange Wanderung geht, wenn jedes Gramm der Ausrüstung zählt und auf dem Rücken getragen werden muss. Das Axion wiegt ca. 300 Gramm - nicht mehr als ein normaler Entfernungsmesser, bietet aber außergewöhnlich viele Funktionen an.

Die aktivierte Funktion Bild-im-Bild zeigt ein kleines Fenster mit dem gezoomten Teil des Bildes im oberen Teil des Bildschirms an.
