Der schaft ist gerade und das schaftsenkung vertikal wird damit getan platte des metals. Vorhanden schränkung nach rechts oder schränkung nach links dessen 3,5 Mm. Begriffen in türkischem Walnuß-Baum, getrocknet zu 16 %.

Da Holz ein lebendiges Material ist und durch Feuchtigkeit und Austrocknung leichten Verformungen unterliegt, kann es vorkommen, dass beim Verkleiden/Montieren an den mit dem Basküle in Kontakt stehenden Teilen leichte Anpassungen erforderlich sind.
