Original AK47 Type 1 grip made of Bakelite / matching grip panels

Rare Type 1 Bakelite grip panels of the early original AK47 (not to be confused with the AKM). A truly venerable appearance and an elevated grip feel. Fits warm and absolutely securely in the hand.Color is a typical Soviet red-brown. In the dark, more dark brown, in direct sunlight more reddish (see the last two pictures for comparison).Unfortunately, it cannot simply be mounted on an AKM; an adapter is required for this. Each has tiny original factory markings "1" and "2" at the bottom.The offer includes both grip panels together, unfortunately no screw included.Condition:Unused arsenal condition. No wear, bruises, cracks, or similar. After decades of storage, there is some surface rust on the steel.
