One of the smallest usable pocket pistols. Unlike other Spanish handguns, the weapons from Astra and Star have a good reputation. It was the most successful, best-selling model of the company Unceta y Cia,/Guernica (Astra), the Cub. A total of 236,241 pistols in caliber 6.35 mm Browning and 140,150 pistols in .22 short were produced and sold by Astra until July 1995. Until the closure of the Astra company in 1998, further M 2000 Cub were manufactured in the production facilities. Even a Colt weapon, the Colt Junior, was identical to the Cub and was produced at Astra in Guernica. As a pocket pistol, Astra had previously offered the M 200 model. This weapon was produced in various versions from 1920 to 1967 and was sold 234,105 times. The pistol was manufactured by Astra-Unceta Y Cia between 1954 and 1998. The pistol features a 2 1/41 inch long barrel, pearl resin grips, matching serial numbers, and a nickel finish. The slide is marked on the side with the inscription “Astra- Unceta Y CIA SA - Guernica Cal. .22" Short Made in Spain". The magazine bears the inscription “ASTRA” on the bottom.

Eine der kleinsten gebrauchsfähigen Taschenpistolen. Im Gegensatz zu anderen spanischen Faustfeuerwaffen haben die Waffen von Astra und Star einen guten Ruf. Es war das erfolgreichste, meistverkaufte Modell der Firma Unceta y Cia,/Guernica (Astra), die Cub. Von diesem Typ wurden von Astra bis zum Juli 1995 ganze 236 241 Pistolen im Kaliber 6,35 mm Browning und 140 150 Pistolen in .22 kurz produziert und verkauft. Bis zur Schließung der Firma Astra im Jahre 1998 stellte man in den Produktionsstätten weitere M 2000 Cub her. Selbst eine Colt-Waffe, die Colt Junior, war mit der Cub identisch und wurde bei Astra in Guernica hergestellt. Als Westentaschenpistole hatte Astra zuvor die M 200 im Programm gehabt. Diese Waffe wurde in verschiedenen Ausführungen von 1920 bis 1967 produziert und ging 234 105 Mal über den Ladentisch. Die Pistole wurde zwischen 1954 und 1998 von Astra-Unceta Y Cia hergestellt. Die Pistole verfügt über einen 2 1/41 Zoll langen Lauf, Perlharzgriffe, übereinstimmende Seriennummern und eine Nickeloberfläche. Der Verschluss ist auf der Seite mit der Aufschrift „Astra- Unceta Y CIA SA - Guernica Cal. .22" Short Made in Spain". Das Magazin trägt auf der Unterseite die Aufschrift „ASTRA“.
