Petromax eccentric complete – repair kit for HK150/HK250/HK350/HK500 The right choice when not just a single small part, but the eccentric/handwheel assembly needs to be replaced.
Fits well / fits rather not
Fits well For HK150, HK250, HK350 or HK500 with worn or to-be-replaced eccentric mechanism.
Fits rather not If clearly only the eccentric nipple or eccentric shaft is defective and the rest of the assembly remains intact.
What the complete kit offers
Assembly instead of single part Several related components are replaced together; this makes more sense with more extensive wear than buying single parts.
Avoid wrong purchase “Complete” refers to the eccentric/handwheel unit, not a full lantern service kit.
Limits & safety
Not a universal part and not a solution for every operating problem of a high-pressure lantern. Before work, make sure the lantern is cold, depressurized, and out of operation. After installation, check for tightness and function; if unsure, have it checked by a professional.
Technical data with practical interpretation
Compatibility Petromax HK150, HK250, HK350, HK500 according to available product data.
Material Brass and plastic according to available information.
Area Eccentric/handwheel mechanism – for targeted maintenance and repair.
Delimitation More comprehensive than eccentric nipple or eccentric shaft as single parts.
Scope of delivery
According to available data: handwheel, eccentric shaft, eccentric nipple, graphite packing, locknut, washer, and nut for the handwheel.
FAQ
Is the eccentric nipple included? Yes, according to the available scope of delivery, it is part of the complete kit. Does the kit fit all Petromax lamps? The available data list HK150, HK250, HK350, and HK500. When is a single part enough? When the defect is clearly limited to a single component and the rest of the mechanism is intact.
Black-Raptor classification For a more comprehensive repair of the eccentric mechanism, the cleaner choice; with a clear single damage, the complete kit would be unnecessary. (Show description in original language)
