Air pump adapter The air pump adapter simplifies inflating the lamp by replacing it with the hand pump. To do this, the pump cover along with the piston is unscrewed and the air pump adapter is screwed on. An air pump or compressor can then be connected to the adapter to quickly and comfortably pressurize the tank. When the lamp is inflated using the adapter, it also benefits the lifespan of the glow mantle. Vibrations caused by pumping with the hand pump are thus avoided. Luftpumpenadapter Der Luftpumpenadapter vereinfacht das Aufpumpen der Lampe, indem er gegen die Handpumpe ausgetauscht wird. Dazu wird der Pumpendeckel mitsamt Kolben abgeschraubt und der Luftpumpenadapter aufgeschraubt. An den Adapter kann dann eine Luftpumpe oder ein Kompressor angeschlossen werden, um den Tank schnell und komfortabel unter Druck zu setzen. Wird die Lampe mithilfe des Adapters aufgepumpt, kommt das auch der Lebensdauer des Glühstrumpfes zugute. Erschütterungen, die durch das Pumpen mit der Handpumpe entstehen, werden so vermieden. Der Luftpumpenadapter passt auf alle Petromax-Modelle.
