Barnes kombiniert die eigene Munitionsfertigung mit dem 9,1 g / 140 gr schweren Sierra Tipped GameKing (TGK) und setzt damit auf eine Geschosskonstruktion, die hohe aerodynamische Effizienz mit zuverlässiger jagdlicher Expansion und Penetration verbindet.Das verwendete Sierra Tipped GameKing ist ein modernes Mantelgeschoss mit Bleikern und Polymerspitze. Die stromlinienförmige High-BC-Konstruktion reduziert den Luftwiderstand und unterstützt eine gestreckte Flugbahn sowie einen guten Geschwindigkeits- und Energieerhalt.
