Barnes kombiniert dabei die eigenen hohen Ladestandards mit dem 9,4 g / 145 gr schweren Sierra Tipped GameKing (TGK), das speziell für die Leistungsfähigkeit moderner 6,5-mm-Magnum-Patronen entwickelt wurde.Das verwendete Sierra Tipped GameKing #4345 wurde gezielt rund um die 6.5 PRC konstruiert. Das Geschoss verbindet einen Bleikern und widerstandsfähigen Mantel mit einer Polymerspitze und einem aerodynamisch optimierten High-BC-Profil. Die Konstruktion unterstützt eine gestreckte Flugbahn, reduziert den Luftwiderstand und ist zugleich auf zuverlässige Expansion bei jagdlichen Auftreffgeschwindigkeiten ausgelegt.Mit einem Geschossgewicht von 145 gr und einem ballistischen Koeffizienten von G1 0,597 nutzt das TGK das Geschwindigkeitspotenzial der 6.5 PRC besonders effizient. Sierra nennt für das Geschoss zusätzlich einen G7-BC von 0,291. Durch die hohe aerodynamische Effizienz bleiben Geschwindigkeit und Energie auch auf größere Entfernungen vergleichsweise gut erhalten.Barnes gibt für die fertige Laborierung eine Mündungsgeschwindigkeit von 2.910 fps beziehungsweise rund 887 m/s an.
